All heating systems need repairs from time to time as a result of normal wear and tear. Our service technicians can repair all leading brands of heating equipment. We respond quickly to repair requests and will work to schedule repairs at a time that is convenient to you.

We realize that not all repairs can be made during regular business hours. Sometimes the unexpected happens, and your system needs to be serviced after hours. Our technicians are on call 24 hours a day, including weekends and holidays, to handle such repairs. With our fully stocked service vehicles, you will not experience needless delay waiting for repairs to be completed.

As a system ages and repairs become more frequent, you will need to consider upgrading or replacing your existing equipment or installing a completely new system. We will help you choose which option fits your situation and budget and provide a step-by-step outline of the process.

2015 Regulations Information

A few years ago, the Department of Energy increased the minimum efficiency of newly installed
heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment from 10 to 13 SEER. (SEER stands for Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio.) On January 1st, 2015, the minimums will once again change - this time depending on the region in which you live. In our beautiful state, new air conditioners and heat pumps installed after January 1st will have to have a minimum rating of 14 SEER.
In addition, new standards will go into effect that will impact the design of new water heaters, making them 2 or more inches larger in diameter and height.

What does this mean for you? With the increase in efficiency being mandated, you will see an increase in the cost and size of equipment. The size difference can make for an extra degree of difficulty and additional labor when replacing the equipment (think attics with drop-down stairs, water heaters in closets and outdoor units straddling setback lines). If you know your HVAC system or water heater is due for replacement any time, it may be worth considering an earlier replacement to avoid increased equipment and labor costs associated with the higher efficiency, larger equipment.
